Meet Your MBA Colleagues

Brad Neumann

Hey there. I’m Brad Neumann. As you guys may guess, I’m not from the South, but I have Texas heritage. I was born in Texas, moved to Ohio at age 3, then to Michigan at age 4, then lived in Minnesota for 3 years before returning back to Michigan again. I moved down to Baton Rouge after graduating from Michigan State University with majors of Advertising and Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media, and I am currently a first year MBA student. I really like LSU, and consider myself a “Spartan Tiger,” good Football in the fall, good Basketball in the winter. Geaux States!

In high school, I created some musical instruments out of PVC pipes and formed a band called “Natürlich” with a few friends. We wrote our own songs and performed in my high school talent show. So if you ever need to make an instrument out of PVC, you know who to ask. I produced quite a few videos, some for actual, paying clients, but most were either for fun or for class. I won a few awards for a couple of pixilation videos in high school and made a few really cool videos at MSU too.

With the combination of my Telecomm and Advertising degrees, I’m a one man ad agency. I can work on marketing positioning and ad concepts, and can actually produce whatever needs to be produced (print, radio or TV ads). I like producing ads, so that’s why the Green Cohort (the best cohort) has so many posters.

Anyway, instead of just making the videos or ads, I’d rather develop the ideas and strategy behind them. My goal is to head the marketing department for a major company, or maybe start my own ad agency. Only time will tell, and boy, time sure talks slowly (sometimes with food in its mouth).
