LSU FLORES MBA ASSOCIATION

The LSU Flores MBA Association (MBAA) is a graduate-level student organization designed to enhance the MBA experience. Since its inception, the MBAA has served as an effective conduit between our students, the community, and business leaders from around the globe. The primary goals of the MBAA are to:

  • Promote personal and professional growth outside of the classroom setting
  • Nourish a strong, lasting sense of comradery between our fellow students
  • Develop extensive professional networks to benefit both students and business leaders
  • Uphold a positive professional image of the Flores MBA Program

In order to achieve these goals, our officers are constantly working to develop and execute a diverse series of events that can be enjoyed by all members of the association. These events provide great opportunities for professional development, networking, socializing, and recreational activity. Each year, the MBAA organizes a mentor/mentee program that pairs our 1st year students with ou r 2nd year students. The purpose of the program is to provide guidance and assistance to our new students as they begin the program. The mentor/mentee program is also a great way to promote comradery between our members.

The MBAA also sponsors and organizes a number of professional development programs. This fall, the MBAA will be initiating a "Dinner Club" which will consist of a series of evening presentations from local business leaders. Each presentation will focus on one of our MBA specializations such as Marketing, Information Technology, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and many more. Other events this year will include the annual Christmas Party and Football Tailgaiting. Check below for our events calendar or check out our events page. Add this calendar to your Google Calendar and always know what's going on!
