NAWMBA at LSU is a local chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs, a not-for-profit national organization dedicated to empowering women MBAs and graduate women in business in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce. NAWMBA, LSU Chapter is an active organization that aims to develop and empower its members within, while assisting and supporting the community outside. Through informative workshops, influential speakers, exciting events and beneficial networking NAWMBA, LSU seeks to provide opportunities for growth and success for its members. Furthermore, by focusing outward into the community, primarily on women's causes, NAWMBA, LSU aims to elevate women in the broader social spectrum.

NAWMBA, LSU Chapter has many items on its agenda, but most notably is the C. Murray Pace Fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held every year in memory of Miss Pace in order to provide opportunities for incoming female MBA students. To learn more about Pace and the scholarship please visit here.

NAWMBA, LSU Reps: Four members of our chapter attended the 2008 NAWMBA National Conference, where President Emily Haluska accepted a scholarship. Next years conference will be held at Disney Land in Anaheim, CA.
