MBAA Wine and Cheese
Friday, October 17th, 7 pm - 10 pm

In the 3rd Floor Gallery of the Shaw Center. 7 pm-10 pm, wine, beer and light food to be provided. Cocktail attire required. Guest tickets may be purchased for $15/each. Please RSVP as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

Fright Night!
Thursday, October 16th, 9:45 pm

We will meet outside the 13th Gate Haunted Gate at 9:45pm. Tickets are $20, however, Thursdays are “Family Night” so it’s $5 off admission. For Directions to the 13th Gate, go to their website. Guests are welcome to attend.

Welcome to the Jungle Bus Trip
Saturday, October 18th

Boudreaux’s bus trip takes us on another mystery journey to a watering hole east of Baton Rouge for some solid Cajun fun. Tickets are $15 and include bus transportation, bar admission, and beverages on board. Contact cboud25@lsu.edu with questions or to sign up.


Angola Prison Rodeo
Sunday, October 19th, 10 am - 5 pm

Please sign up at the MBAA meeting after Friday’s POB if you would like to go to the Angola Rodeo this Sunday. Casey will be purchasing tickets on Friday afternoon based on the response. Tickets are $10. We will carpool from the CEBA lot at 10am and will return to Baton Rouge around 5pm. Guests may also attend. For more information: www.angolarodeo.com

Candy Drive
Saturday, October 20-28

Please bring soft candy, No suckers, peppermints, gumballs, gobstoppers, etc. Please bring all items to the MBA Office, and place in the bin in the graduate assistants office. Don't forget to write your name and cohort on the bag! Remember, this is a contest!

Volunteers Needed!
We need people to bring the candy bags to the Boy's House and Girl's House, as well as Southside Child Development Center. Please e-mail Melinda at mrome1@lsu.edu if you are interested! (during Halloween Week - definite date & time to come)

Dinner Club
Tuesday, October 21st, 6:30 pm
New and Improved! We have decided to morph the Breakfast Club into a Dinner Club. As the name implies, we will provide dinner, so please arrive a little early!

Danny Hebert, who is Director of the Consumer Direct Division at Community Coffee, will be our featured presenter. As Director, Mr. Hebert is responsible for leading all marketing strategies and tactics to ensure Community Coffee is aligned with their overall organizational sales goals and brand image.
