| MBAA Open Meeting / China Trip Info Session |
Wednesday, November 12th, Noon - 1 pm
We will have our second MBAA open meeting this Wednesday (November 12th) from noon until 1 pm. During the first part of the meeting, Jennifer will provide a brief info session on the 2009 China Trip. The dates of the trip are May 17th - 31st.
The open meeting and info session will be held in Room 2162. We will provide lunch, so please RSVP to the invitational email that was already sent. |

This course has been approved for graduate credit. This course meets from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday evenings and is a good elective option for students who want to complete the specialization in HR.

Snag a wristband from Casey on Thursday to enjoy open bar at Freds this Friday night. Keg beer starts at 6pm with open call bar from 8-10pm. Admission is free with wristband before 9pm ($10 without a wristband).
Skate Galaxy Night - 80s vs. 90s
Tuesday, November 25th

Tacky Christmas Party

This year's christmas party will be held at Chris Dean's house. Wear your mom's favorite christmas sweater and bring a $5 gag gift for the white elephant game.

November 16 and 23rd
Join us each Sunday in November at the LSU Lakes on Dalrymple for an afternoon of leisure and fishing. Bring your own fishing supplies and beverages.

Toys for Tots Drive
November 17th - December 4th
We are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be donated to children in need in the Baton Rouge community. Please bring toys to the MBA office and include your receipt, name and cohort. We will be awarding the winning cohort, as well as the top 5 donors! Prizes will be announced at the MBAA meeting this Wednesday. If you have any questions, contact Melinda Rome at mrome1@lsu.edu.

Specilization Focus: Marketing
Our next Dinner Club meeting will be Wednesday (November 19th) at 6:30 pm in 2147 PFT. Our featured presenter will be Tommy Teepell. Mr. Teepell is the Chief Marketing Officer for Lamar Advertising Company, one of the largest publicly held outdoor advertising companies in the United States. Mr. Teepell also spent several years on Madison Avenue in New York directing the national marketing efforts for the Outdoor Association of America. We will provide dinner, so please arrive a little early.
