NAWMBA Keep the Pace 5k
Hey guys!!

NAWMBA is hosting the 2nd Annual Keep the Pace 5K Run Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the LSU Parade Grounds to benefit the Charlotte Murray Pace Memorial MBA Scholarship.

On May 24, 2002, Pace graduated in the top 10% of her class from the LSU Flores MBA Program and was slated to begin her career as an internal auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Enterprise Risk Services. Exactly one week later, she was murdered. In the wake of her death, classmates and friends asked that a scholarship be established in her name to commemorate her life and achievements.

To register early for the event or for further information, please visit http://www.active.com/running/baton-rouge-la/keep-the-pace-5k-runwalk-2010. The cost for early registration is $20 for non-students and $15 for students. Registration the day of the event begins at 5:00pa.m. and will be $25. Food and music will be provided. Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund who does not want to run may send donations to:

LSU NAWMBA
Attn: Kristin Casey

3176 Patrick F. Taylor Hall
Baton Rouge, LA 7080

You may also give donations directly to me, Lindsey DeSeamus, or Megan Taflinger if you wish to do so. We had a great turnout last year and this is a huge deal for the Pace family, so we want to get as much involvement as possible. Thanks so much in advance for your participation!!

Kristin Casey

Thank you!!

Some MBAA members made the paper. Well, TigerWeekly. And it was Party Pix. So, yeah, take that for what it's worth.
