This week's Practice of Business speaker is Bill Borne, CEO of Amedisys. It will be held on Friday 9/26 from 10:00 am - Noon in the Energy, Coast & Environment Building Auditorium.
* Dress is business professional.
Remember to wear your name tags and bring your ID's to scan in.
Representatives from Amedisys will be on hand in the conference room adjacent to the auditorium at 9 am before POB begins. In an effort to maintain an intimate atmosphere we are requiring that if you are interested in attending this specific event, you RSVP to Seth at seththib@lsu.edu and include your resume no later than Wednesday at 4:30 pm.

MBAA Bowled Over After-Party, 10 pm - till
Friday, September 26th
MBAA party at Jonathan Harb’s house. Guests are welcome to attend. Harb is offering his house, two kegs, and some snacks. There will be music and fun. Feel free to bring your own liquor, mixers, and your mentor/mentee. Parking: Try to carpool. You can park on the street but sometimes neighbors complain. My house has a magnolia tree in front of it. Kickoff is at 6:30 but tailgating will start at 11:00 am on the parade grounds. Cost is $12/person. Invite your friends!

College of Business Alumni Party, 5 pm - 8 pm
Friday, September 26th
There will be a DJ, free food and drinks at this Friday’s Alumni event. It will be held in the Patrick F. Taylor Hall courtyard. Friends and family are also welcome to attend. Also, this serves as a great opportunity to network with executives from all sorts of companies who will be in attendance for the Dean's Advisory Council Meeting that occurs that day. Come out and have some fun!

Boys Hope Girls Hope Charity Event
BUY tickets this week! The Boys Hope Girls Hope Bowling Ball will be held on September 26 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $45 per person or $75 per couple. To purchase tickets or get more information you can email Melinda Rome or Chris Dean (mrome1@lsu.edu or cdean11@lsu.edu), or visit the website.
We need 10 volunteers for the night that will be able to attend for FREE. This is a great chance for 2nd years who are looking to earn extra credit for Organizational Behavior. Please e-mail Melinda as soon as possible to attend and have FREE food and drinks for the night!
Light the Night Walk
Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk to build awareness of blood cancers and raise funds for cures. This year’s walk will be held on Sunday, October 5th. Tessa LeBlanc (1st year MBA student) has organized a team to participate in the walk.
To join the team visit: www.lightthenight.org/la. The steps to follow: Register --> Join Team --> Search by Team Name: Rally for Rachael. The team who has the most people will get their own tent at the event as well as a few other perks!
