Because networking is such a huge aspect of business, the MBAA has created a vast social calendar. Membership dues include an entire two years of networking opportunities for you and a guest.

The fall semester’s events begin with the back to school party. This serves as an initial opportunity for the incoming members to mingle outside of the classroom as well as for existing members to catch up with each other after a summer away from LSU. For anyone familiar with LSU, you know how important football games are. The MBAA reserves a section of Death Valley (Tiger Stadium) for its members and guests. Also, before two football games the association holds a tailgating party which includes food, drinks, music, and fun.

The spring semester begins with a back to school party as well. Sometime around March, we hold our annual Wine and Cheese Party. This is one of the most anticipated events of the school year because it allows for members to socialize in a professional environment. Faculty awards as well as other speeches take place at this event. At the conclusion of the year comes the End of Year Party.
